Mathis Wetzel
Mathis holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish Philology from the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (D) and a Master of Arts from the University of Bern (CH) in French Linguistics and Literature with special qualification in Linguistics (Minor in Spanish Language and Literature). Since March 2020, he is working at the University of Bern as a PhD candidate for the SNSF-funded project of Prof. Dr. Sandrine Zufferey " Didi - Discovering Discourse ". Here, Mathis investigates the factors that make it difficult to acquire and master discourse connectors in French as a foreign language.
